Yoga Sūtras
The Yoga sutras is a well known text for yoga students and teachers. There are many translations available. Here we present just the Sanskrit, written in transliterated English. Example (atha yogānuśāsanam). There’s no translation or commentary. This allows for swift and simple chanting and memorisation of the Yoga sutras. There’s a short introduction which includes some lesser known facts about the Yoga sutras and a brief discussion of its philosophy. At the back is a simplified introduction to understanding the diacritical marks above and below certain letters to aid correct pronunciation. And the colour, love it.

15 sets out the questions and answers between Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa that span the verses of The Bhagavad Gītā. Hamish includes some well-known quotes from the ancient Indian text offering greater context to his summaries, along with a few interesting facts and further topics the book often leads us to question. You’ll also find a few of his own doodles and Sanskrit translations and thoughts inside, giving a little insight into how his mind sees The Bhagavad Gītā after many years of his studies and readings of it.
